Rules and supported dates
All exact matches in the target Gregorian year are shown. No month or day is substituted.
Chinese lunar conversion: 1950–2035. Gregorian calculations: 1900–2199. Leap months remain distinct from regular months.
Worked example
Lunar month 1, day 1 falls on 2024-02-10 in Gregorian year 2024. Search again for another year; last year's Gregorian month and day will not reliably give this year's lunar birthday.
Common question
Does no matching date mean the calculation failed?
Not necessarily. The target year may lack the required leap month, or a shorter lunar month may lack day 30. The tool does not silently substitute a regular month or day 29. Families can choose a celebration date separately from the exact calendar match.
