Calendar overview
This page covers Gregorian 2028/7, with 31 days. The first date, 2028-07-01, corresponds to Chinese lunar 2028 · Leap month · month 5, day 9; the last date, 2028-07-31, corresponds to Chinese lunar 2028 · month 6, day 10. A Gregorian month can cross a Chinese lunar month boundary or even a year boundary. Read the individual date cell for dates between those endpoints.
Reading both calendars
Large numbers are Gregorian days; smaller numbers show the Chinese lunar month/day. A + marks a leap month, separate from the regular month with the same number.
Gregorian and Chinese lunar months do not start and end together. A Chinese lunar month has 29 or 30 days; an inserted leap month is separate from the ordinary month with the same number. Gregorian 29 February is a different concept. When recording a birthday, retain the calendar system, birth year, month, day and leap-month flag.
Planning with these dates
Use the calendar to compare dates, weekdays and Chinese lunar dates. Weekend colours and festival dates do not establish local public holidays. Confirm the actual Gregorian date and applicable local announcements before arranging travel, appointments or gatherings; confirm the local date when communicating across time zones.
